DIRECTOR: Michael John Gorman Dr Michael John Gorman is the Founding Director of Science Gallery and Adjunct Professor of Creative Technologies at Trinity College Dublin. He has extensive international experience in public engagement with science and technology, having created and developed public exhibitions and events in the United States, Europe and Ireland. He was a lecturer in Science, Technology and Society at Stanford University and has held fellowships at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. He has published widely on the relationship between science and the arts in journals including Leonardo and Nature and is the author of books including Buckminster Fuller: Designing for Mobility (Skira, 2005). EVENTS AND COMMUNITY MANAGER: Ian Brunswick A passion for Science Communication means Ian can be seen near the podium for most Science Gallery events, and when he's not there he's probably in the crowd. With a degree in Comparative Literature and a M.Sc. in Science Communication, Ian comes from a background in broadcasting and non-profit work. He likes traveling, sailing, Derek Walcott, and dystopian-future films; and he has lost countless months of his life on David Attenborough nature documentaries. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER: Fionn Kidney Fionn likes helping people communicate ideas and to facilitate participation at every opportunity. He worked with some of the world's biggest brands for three years at an agency before setting out on a freelance journey that saw him do everything from producing music videos for the likes of Underworld to an election campaign for a young candidate in the 2011 Irish General Election. Associate Director, Trinity Foundation, Trinity College Dublin: Clodagh Memery Clodagh Memery is Associate Director with Trinity Foundation, and is responsible for all fundraising for Science Gallery, from corporates, government, foundations, and individuals. In the past year, Clodagh has secured over €2M in pledges for Science Gallery. Clodagh has wide experience in managing successful relationships across the public, private and academic sector through her past experience in management consultancy, public sector leadership, in business analysis, and research. Clodagh's professional career has crossed over between Ireland and the UK. Clodagh is a science graduate of Trinity College Dublin and holds an M.Phil from University of Glasgow.
Clodagh also supports the School of Physics and School of Chemistry.

Lead Researcher on European Projects: Jane Chadwick Science Gallery's very own tame Volcanologist, Jane Chadwick is the lead researcher on European FP7 Projects including Studiolab, KiiCS and PLACES. She has a BA (mod) in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Geochemistry and Volcanology with over six years of research, teaching, and Science Communication experience. Researcher: Science & Education — Maria Phelan Maria Phelan combines her passion for science and art in Research and Development for both Exhibitions and Education at Science Gallery. Maria holds an Hons. BSc in Biomedical Sciences, BA in Fine Art and MA in Arts Management, gathering and sharing over 15 years of experience as both medical scientist, practising artist, science communicator, liason and lead researcher in the ‘Lab in the Gallery’ series and experiments in Science Gallery, as well as European projects including TWIST, StudioLab and Kiics. Researcher: Graphic Design — Ruža Leko Ruža, a Croatian designer, graduated at IADT visual communications design course before she joined Science Gallery in 2010. She is the creative force behind the graphic design of Science Gallery's exhibitions and accompanying posters, catalogues and environmental graphics including graphic design for Science Gallery's FP7 project Studiolab. Ruža works closely with the team on developing visual identities from the concept to completion and her love for new, experimental and edgy design is catered for by the Science Gallery's cutting edge content. Researcher: Press and Communications — Shaun O'Boyle Shaun O'Boyle works on press and communications at Science Gallery, and researches on these areas for European FP7 projects including KiiCS and Studiolab. Shaun has a degree in Physiology and a PhD in Biochemistry and, as the producer of Newstalk's weekly science show Futureproof, has spent two years finding new ways to explain science to non-scientists.
