What if?
What if you could see every moment of your life?
Every choice you did or didn't make?
What if you could change your life? Be happier?
On the 10th Dimension, we can be anything we want to be.
That’s About The Size Of It - by Niamh Shaw & Úna Kavanagh - is part-lecture, part-biographical 50-minute interactive, informative visual performance piece about the science all around us, CERN, string theory and dimensions, the effect of choice, chance and coincidence on our life journey, and that we are all on a quest for happiness.
Thats About The Size Of It was created through the support of the Arts Council of Ireland to travel to CERN in Switzerland. Niamh interrogated Particle Physicists and others working on the Large Hadron Collider and she was inspired to assimilate some of this fascinating work into something that resonated with a non-scientific audience. It premiered at ABSOLUT Fringe 2011 as part of the Show in a Bag initiative and is touring this year as part of Dublin City of Science 2012.
That's About The Size Of It is supported by Fishamble: The New Play Company, ABSOLUT Fringe and The Irish Theatre Institute.
