Saturday, June 4, 2011 - 12:30 to 15:30
Work with the team who created the "My Robot Companion" installation to design and build your own ideal robot companion’s head and discuss the scientific and ethical issues involved in social robotics. Learn how the technology works through demonstrations and work with a range of materials to create a head for your future robot companion.
Participants may also bring any materials of their own to incorporate in their robot heads (use your imagination!) but materials will be supplied. The workshop is suitable for adults and teenagers.
